A Disussion of India's Lobbying Diplomacy in Washington Centeredon'Indo-American Civil Nuclear Agreement',

Abstract

The Indian government has launched a large-scale lobbying campaign for the US-Indian nuclear deal with the White House,Capitol Hill and the Amercian media as it's targets of lobbying since 2006. Meanwhile,New Delhi has formed a strong lobbying group consisting of Indian diplomats , Americans of Indian origin,people from the business community and the various walks of life in the United States , and adopted a strategy of lobbying with an allied force of the various lobbyists,that,as a result,have achieved a massive support on the Capitol Hill and persuaded President George W.Bush to sign the agreement.
