【Abstract】:Since Donald Trump was elected the President of the United States,a new trend has taken place in U.S. diplomacy and new variables have faced Sino-U.S. relations.The Trump administration has made new adjustments in recognizing and sorting American national interests,and thus triggering a new interaction with China that has its own recognition and ranking of its national interests. Based on the change of interests,there will be conversion in the roles of China and the United States in five areas during the Trump administration and this indicates new development in interaction model of Sino-U.S. relations in the short-term.  In the long run,Sino-U.S. relations would reach a balance of power.In the period approaching the tipping point of balance status,China and the United States should strengthen cooperation,form a mutual recognition and consensus of the world order,and promote a harmonic coexistence of big powers or a peaceful transition of power together.
