Abstract
The rise of emerging powers as a group on the world stage is not only changing the global economic and political power configuration, but also challenging the legitimacy of the global governance system dominated by the West. The global governance system needs to adapt itself to the new realtiy and transfer part of the governaning power to emerging powers. However, to make the transference of governance power more smoothly and efficiently, the emerging powers should coordinate and cooperate among themselves and push the reform of global governance as a group during the transition period. As an important party of the emerging powers, China should strenthen its dilomacy towards emerging powers and coordinate their efforts and positons toward global governance reform.
