On the afternoon of September 2nd, Prof. Khurshid Ahmad, Chairman of the Pakistan Institute of Policy Studies paid a visit to the CAS. He, together with Director of the CAS--Prof. Shen Dingli, Dr. Zhang Jiadong and some students had a symposium about the situations in Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as their potential influence on China.
