On March 20, 2026, Jessica Chen Weiss, the David M. Lampton Professor of China Studies at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), led a student delegation on a visit to the Center for American Studies (CAS) at Fudan University. CAS Director Wu Xinbo, Deputy Director Xin Qiang, and Professors Zhang Jiadong and Wei Zongyou received the delegation and held in-depth exchanges with the visiting scholars and students on China-U.S. relations, the Taiwan question, China-U.S. technological competition, and the U.S. Indo-Pacific strategy.
