On the afternoon of August 22, 2025, a delegation of four from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), led by Dr. J. Stephen Morrison, visited the Center for American Studies at Fudan University (CAS Fudan). Professor Wu Fan, Vice Dean of Fudan University Shanghai Medical College, and Professor Wu Xinbo, Dean of the Institute of International Studies and Director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University, met with the delegation.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on several key topics, including current China–U.S. relations, prospects for global health security cooperation, and disease prevention strategies in the post-COVID era.
