4th May, 2008, CAS holds a report for the Anniversary of the Founding of Fudan University. Mr. Harry Harding, the renowned professor and China-issue expert at George Washington University of the United States, gave a speech about "The New Phase and New Challenges of Sino-U.S. Relations". The meeting was chaired by Professor Shen Dingli, Director of the CAS. Professor Wu Xinbo, Deputy Professor of the CAS made a commentary speech afterwards.
