Opening Address
On the day of June 24th, the academic session on "American New Deal and Cross-strait Relations" was co-hosted by the CAS of Fudan University and the College of International Affairs of Taiwan National Chengchi University. During the session distinguished scholars from both sides of the straits presented a series of in-depth points of view on the matter of American New Deal together with its potential influence, and also on the latest development of cross-strait relations as well as its future tendency. Discussions in each period were also very frank and impassioned, serious-minded and thought-provoking.
