The Symposium on “China-U.S. Trade Tensions and Implications” Held at Fudan University

  On May 20, 2019, the Center for American Studies, together with the Center for Asia-Pacific Cooperation and Governance at Fudan University, jointly organized and convened an academic symposium on "China-U.S. Trade Tensions and Implications"  in  Auditorium  104,  Center for American Studies, Fudan University.  Over twenty experts and scholars from the International Economics and Finance Institute, Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, Institute of American Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Institute of International Studies, China Institutes of Contemporary International Studies, Renmin University of China, Nankai University, Jilin University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and Fudan University attended the event.

  Academics and experts present at the symposium centered on China-U.S. trade tensions, conducting profound and robust discussions with in-depth exchanges on such issues as Sino-U.S. trade negotiations, bilateral strategic competitive relations, reforms concerning multilateral trade mechanisms and  financial impacts of trade tensions.
