On the afternoon of March 3, 2026, a delegation of fifteen students from Georgetown University — led by Kristen Looney, Associate Professor of Asian Studies and Government, and Tuoya Wulan, Managing Director of the Georgetown University Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues — visited the Center for American Studies (CAS) at Fudan University, where they joined fifteen Fudan student representatives for the "Fudan-Georgetown China-U.S. Student Dialogue."
The program included a fireside chat, breakout discussions among the Chinese and American students, and presentations of each group's conclusions. Professor Wu Xinbo, Dean of the Institute of International Studies and Director of the CAS, warmly welcomed the delegation and delivered opening remarks. He then joined Professor Looney in a fireside chat on "China-U.S. Relations: Present and Future," and together they took questions from students on both sides.
