At the invitation of CAS, Prof. Tang Ben, director of the Asian Studies Center of American Claremont Institute visited the CAS on March 12, 2003. He also gave a lecture on " Iraq issue and Sino-U.S. Relations", in which he elaborated on the backgrounds, reasons, aims of the Iraq War as well as China's attitude and policy in relation to the war.
