On March 14th, a seminar under the topic of "the Development of the Cross-strait Relations and the American China Policy"  was successfully held at Center for American Studies, Fudan University. Prof. Sun Zhe, Deputy Director of the CAS presided over the seminar. About 20 scholars from Columbia University (US), Taiwan and mainland China attended the seminar. The seminar lasted for a whole day covering mainly three topics: the recent development of Taiwan politics, the American role in the cross-strait relations and mainland’s policy towards Taiwan. Scholars from three sides expressed their opinions and research results on these topics and attracted both brilliant comments and questions.
