The seminar on the "Taiwan election and the Sino-US relations" was held in the CAS on the morning of April 13, 2004.  It was co-sponsored by the Center for American Studies and the Institute of International Studies of Fudan University. Presided by Professor Ni Shixiong, the seminar was attended by about 30 researchers and graduate students from the Institute of International Studies as well as other institutions. Professor Sun Zhe and Yang Xinyu presented their frontier oberservations of the Taiwan election while other professors, including professor Zheng Lizhi,Shen Dingli and Shi Yuanhua etc, shared their views on the Taiwan election and its impact on the Sino-US relations.
