On 20th December, 2007, the American Research National Philosophy and Social Science Innovation Center held a conference to assess the year of 2007. The morning's meeting included the first report on the development of the Innovation Center, and a report from researchers working at the Innovation Center. This was followed by an appraisal of the aforementioned items from the Academic Standing Committee. In the afternoon, the Innovation Center hosted the Academic Standing Committee's annual conference, which included a retrospective report of 2007, and also looked forward to the center's plans for 2008.
