March 13,2009, the subject operation of the National Key Research Institutions for Humanities and Social Sciences (Study of American Government, Politics and Policies and Study of American Economic Diplomacy) was Launched in the CAS.The two projects were in the charge of Professor Chu Shulong at Tsinghua University, and Professor Pan Rui at the CAS respectively. Professor Shen Dingli, Director of the CAS, and Prof. Wu Xinbo, Deputy Director of the CAS were the evaluation experts. Both projects were launched after careful analyses and assessments.
