On May 22, Academic Seminar Series Heralding the 113th Anniversary of Fudan University in 2018 was held at the Center for American Studies. Professor WU Xinbo, Director of Center for American Studies and Dean of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University moderated the event.
The keynote of the 2018 Academic Seminar Series is “Sino-U.S. Relations in the Era of Competition”. In the course of the seminar, Professor SONG Guoyou elucidated on The Sino-U.S. Economic and Trade Competition in the Trump Era, Professor WEI Zongyou illustrated Power Shift, Status Anxiety and the Adjustment of the Trump Administration’s China Strategy, Professor CAI Cuihong presented the Exploratory Analysis of the Cyber-geopolitics in Sino-U.S. Relations, Associate Professor TU Yichao analyzed Religion and Current Sino-U.S. Relations: Power, Regulating Interaction and Identity Shift, Associate Professor PAN Yaling unfolded Contemplations on Sino-U.S. People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges in the Era of Competition and Dr. WANG Hao dwelled on Dual Logic of the Adjustment of the Trump Administration’s China Policy and Their Interactions. The audience participated in the following Q&A session, interacted actively with the researchers and conducted in-depth discussions on the related issues.
