On May 21st, Academic Seminar Series Heralding the 114th Anniversary of Fudan University in 2019 was convened at the Center for American Studies. Professor WU Xinbo, Director of the Center for American Studies and Dean of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University moderated the event.
The keynote of the 2019 Academic Seminar Series cast insightful spotlight on "Reassessing Sino-U.S. Relations in the Era of Competition". In the course of the seminar, Professor ZHANG Jiadong elucidated on The Transformation of American Community and Its Impact on U.S. Diplomatic Styles, Professor SONG Guoyou delivered Re-evaluation of Sino-U.S. Trade Disputes, Professor WEI Zongyou illustrated The Trump Administration's Indo-Pacific Strategy and Its Preliminary Evaluation and Professor CAI Cuihong dwelled on Artificial Intelligence and Sino-U.S. Strategic Competition in the New Era. The audience participated in the following Q&A session, interacted actively with the research fellows and conducted in-depth exploratory discussions on the related issues correspondingly.
