Recently, Fudan American Review, the academic journal of the Center for American Studies (CAS), Fudan University, was once again selected—after an evaluation process conducted by the Chinese Social Sciences Research Evaluation Center of Nanjing University—for inclusion in the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) Source Collection (2025–2026).

Founded in 2001, Fudan American Review is a professional academic journal edited by the Center for American Studies, a Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences designated by the Ministry of Education. Published twice a year, the journal focuses on U.S. politics, economy, diplomacy, society, culture, and China–U.S. relations. It features academic articles that offer solid empirical grounding, analytical depth, theoretical rigor, and innovative perspectives, and periodically releases special issues on major developments in China–U.S. relations.
Fudan American Review has been included in the CSSCI Source Collection for multiple consecutive cycles. It was recognized as a “High-Impact Academic Journal (2024)” by the China Scientific Literature Evaluation Research Center and ranked No. 1 in both Area Studies and Political Science among comparable journals.
