Professor Wu Xinbo, Dean of the Institute of International Studies and Director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University, was invited to attend the forum. On the afternoon of July 2, he participated in a closed-door session titled “China–U.S. Relations: Critical Juncture and Long-Term Trends.” On the morning of July 4, he spoke at a session on “China–U.S. Relations under Trump 2.0.”

Other speakers at the session included Professor Jia Qingguo of Peking University; Thomas Fingar, former Chairman of the U.S. National Intelligence Council and Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University; Neysun Mahboubi, Director of the Penn Project on the Future of U.S.–China Relations at the University of Pennsylvania; and Jude Blanchette, Director of RAND China Research Center. The five panelists offered in-depth analyses of the trajectory of China–U.S. relations under Trump’s second term, discussed strategies for managing and improving bilateral ties, and shared insights on future developments. The session also featured active engagement with the audience during the Q&A segment.

Professor Wu was also interviewed by several domestic and international media outlets regarding current developments in U.S. domestic and foreign policy, as well as the broader state of China–U.S. relations.
